Three really is the magic number for the Fergus Falls baseball team.

Fergus Falls entered the third inning with a three-run lead and never looked back, beating Warroad 3-0 on Thursday to win the Minnesota Class 2A, Section 8 baseball title.

Winning, aside from photo ops with a nice section trophy, means the Otters (16-9) return to the Minnesota state baseball tournament for the third consecutive season.
