Outstanding range with strong, accurate arm.

Ty Koehn

OF/P, Mounds View, sr.
College: Bethel.
Outstanding range with strong, accurate arm.

Max Loven 

P/1B, Champlin Park, sr.
College: North Dakota State.
Left-hander went 6-1 with an 0.87 ERA. 

Ryan McDonald 

C, Prior Lake, sr.
College: South Dakota State.
Led the Lakers to first conference title since 2010. 

Mason Nadolney 

3B/SS/P, Minnetonka, sr.
College: Jacksonville.
Will flash the leather, has excellent arm.

Zack Raabe 

SS, Forest Lake, sr.
College: Minnesota.
Rangers’ run of success stems from his leadership.

Eric Rinzel 

C, Holy Family Catholic, jr.
College: Missouri.
Hit .484 with five homers, 25 RBI; an OPS of 1.490. 

T.J. Truso 

SS, Chanhassen, sr.
College: Ellsworth CC.
Hits for average and power (five homers), steals bases.

Ryan Wrobleski 

C, Eden Prairie, sr.
College: Northern Iowa Area CC.
Outstanding defensively, hits for power.


How the team was chosen

The Star Tribune’s all-metro teams and metro player of the year were chosen based on nominations from metro-area coaches, conversations with coaches and staff observations.
