Junior Erich Strehlke went 2-for-4 with a walk, but made his two hits count for the Mayer Luther Crusaders’ nine-inning nonconference 8-5 victory over the Southwest Christian Stars.

With his team down one and two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, the junior catcher stroked a game-tying double to send the game into extra innings.

Two innings later his team was down a run again, but with no outs and the bases loaded, Strehlke sent everyone home with a walk-off grand slam.
