Jack Knapp, Holy Angels: Knapp made his presence felt in the Stars’ 8-4 win over St. Croix Lutheran on April 21, as he went 4-for-4 with a home run, a stolen base and two runs scored.
Mitchell Olson, Eden Prairie: Olson was a catalyst in the Eagles’ 11-0 win over Wayzata on April 21. The senior picked up a pair of hits to go along with four RBI and a run scored.
Alec Gritzmacher, Eveleth-Gilbert: Gritzmacher got the season started off right. He racked up three hits, two of them triples, while driving in four runs in a 13-1 win over Nashwauk-Keewatin on April 20.
Declan Beers, Luverne: The senior catcher impressed in his team's season opener on April 12. Beers, who scored 43 points for Luverne this past hockey season, went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double and two RBI. He also drew two walks and scored a run to lead the Cardinals to a 9-0 win over Adrian.
Hayden Strain, Cannon Falls: Strain did it all in the Bombers’ season-opening win over Kenyon-Wanamingo on April 12. His 3-for-3 batting performance, which included a double, triple, walk, one RBI and two runs, led Cannon Falls to a 9-2 victory. He also struck out five batters over 2 ⅔ innings of shutout work on the mound.
