An epic pitcher's duel quickly turned into a rout for Cretin-Derham Hall after they exploded for 10 runs to break a scoreless tie in the 10th inning of Friday's 10-0 Suburban East victory over Stillwater.
Stillwater starter Joe Zorn allowed just three hits and one walk with nine strikeouts through nine innings, but not even that was good enough to keep pace with Cretin-Derham Hall's Zach Boyle, who threw a 10-inning no-hitter to help the Raiders (10-6 SEC, 10-6) climb within one game of second-place Stillwater (10-5, 12-5) in the conference standings. Forest Lake leads the conference at 11-4 (11-4).
