7 innings, 2 walks, 7 k's, ZERO hits

Cody Herrmann threw a 7-inning no-hitter and the Coon Rapids hitters provided all the offense the red birds would need with two 2-out runs in the first. CR would eventually plate 10 runs and the Green-and-Gold nine had no answer this night.

Herrman completed the feat by striking out two in the seventh, including the game's final batter. For the Cardinals, Alex Wojciechowski led the way at the plate, with a double and single in his first two at-bats. Brady Dristie also had two hits on the day for the red birds.

The only two Pirates to find their way to the base paths were  Jordan Stroh and Connor Green - each using walks to reach first base. Matt Hanson pitched into the seventh for the Pirates, allowing 6 runs, 4 earned in his first six innings of work.

Coon Rapids remains in second place in the NWSC and faces Elk River on the road this Wednesday, while Park Center battles to bust out of soul possession of last place as they journey to Robbinsdale Armstrong.
