The La Crescent victories that are piling up have the Lancers climbing the state rankings.

La Crescent (12-1) is fourth in Class 2A this week after occupying the No. 6 spot in the last poll.

Its inclusion in the poll isn't a surprise after La Crescent won 49 games over the past two seasons, placing third in last season's state tournament and winning it in 2009.
