The Minnesota Twins will honor 2006 Zumbrota-Mazeppa grad Pat Gadient after his classmates created a video dedicated to their friend who was killed in a Feb. 3 car accident.

The "Spruce for Pat" video received 69 percent of the votes in a poll on the Twins' website at MLB.com.

The team will receive one of 14 black spruce trees that were previously planted behind the center field wall at Target Field, but removed this season after hitters expressed concerns about tracking the baseball.
