In a strange week of bitter cold, rain, soaked fields and a power outages, the Woodbury baseball team split a pair of games against Suburban East Conference powers Forest Lake and Stillwater.

On Monday, Woodbury (3-4; 3-2 SEC) piled on six runs in the first four innings and held on for the victory.

Against fifth-ranked Stillwater the Royals’ bats went silent and its defense fell apart as the Ponies overpowered Woodbury 6-0 on Wednesday at Stillwater High School.
