How many sports do you play? Football, basketball and baseball. Football and baseball are my top two.

Your height must be an advantage as a pitcher. It is. I can give the other team a different look. It can be kind of intimidating. I can stride out there and get a lot closer to the plate.

Describe your role on the football team? I’m listed as a tight end, but I’m more like a slot receiver. I do more receiving than blocking.

What is the strongest part of your game? I’m not afraid to go after the ball and catch it as I’m getting hit. I excel at running after the catch.

How fast are you? My last 40[-yard dash] was 4.61.

What are you doing this summer to prepare for your senior year? I’m playing baseball for [American] Legion Post 98. And I’m probably going to a few football camps.

Which colleges contacted you? In football, mostly Division II, like Mankato, Southwest Minnesota State, Bemidji, Duluth, Augustana. In baseball, a few people have contacted me about showcases.

What do you like to do outside of sports? I go to the Minnesota Zoo a lot. I love animals. I want to work with animals some day.

Any particular favorites? I love giraffes. I got to feed one and pet one last year. That was cool. Even though I was up on a platform, it was still so much taller than me. It was intimidating.
