When Totino-Grace wins, which is often, the Eagles don’t mess around. They have won their last six games by a combined score of 53-8, allowing more than one run just once in that span.
Lakeville North has been mostly dominant, too. The No. 1-ranked Panthers have won five of their last six, allowing a combined four runs.
Totino-Grace is 14-5 overall and the North Suburban Conference champion with a 13-1 record. Lakeville North is 15-3 overall and the South Suburban Conference leader with a 14-3 league record.
With the playoffs looming and the conference races all but finished, there’s not much at stake here other than bragging rights. But both these teams will be anxious to post a victory against a premier opponent as a momentum boost heading into the postseason.
