Michael Kaminski had two doubles among his three hits and collected his fourth win of the season on the mound.

Sam Lynch opened the game with a home run and Benilde-St. Margaret's scored in every inning, downing Robbinsdale Cooper, 12-1, in five innings.

On the fourth pitch of the game, with a 2-1 count, Lynch drove a Tyler Williams fastball to right field, seeting the tone for the game.

Nate Hanks followed with a single, moved to third on a passed ball and a fly out, and scored on Mikey McGill's base hit.

In the second inning, Lynch collected his second RBI of the game when Marshall Hoemke scored on his sacrifice fly.

BSM had its biggest outburst in the third inning as Keaton Studsrud single and stole both second and third before scoring on Michael Kaminski's double.

With Colin Polarek on to run for Kaminski, Tyler Wyvell singled, with Polarek advancing to third base. Wyvell then took second base on an unopposed steal attempt before a passed ball plated Polarek, with Wyvell taking third.

Hoemke then walked before moving to second, with Wyvell scoring, on a wild pitch. Chris Racchini then delivered the fourth and final run of the inning with a single to left field.

The Hawks got a run back in the bottom of the third inning but the Red Knights quickly responded with three runs.

Hanks opened the fourth inning with a single and, one pitch later, scored on Studsrud's triple. A walk to McGill and a double by Kaminski led to one more run and Wyvell's sacrifice fly allowed McGill to score the third run of the frame.

The fifth inning saw Polarek lead off with a walk and he advanced to second on an errant pickoff throw. Hanks singled and Polarek then scored when Studsrud reached base on fielder's choice.

A groundout by McGill moved Studsrud to second, from where he scored on Kaminski's single to right field for the game's final run.

While delivering three hits, including a pair of doubles, and two RBI, Kaminski picked up his fourth win of the season by working the first three innings on the mound. He allowed a run on three hits and three walks with three strikeouts.

McGill closed out the final two innings, allowing one hits while fanning three batters.

Hanks also picked up three hits while scoring twice and Studsrud had two hits, two RBI and three runs scored. Hoemke and Racchini also had two hits apiece.

With the win, the third-ranked Red Knights extend their winning streak to 11 games to start the season and gives them a 7-0 mark in the North Suburban Conference. They return to action, Monday, when go to Fridley for a 4:15 p.m. conference meeting with the Tigers.
