Carlton' Colton Godbout joined an elite list Thursday with a 7-0 over Moose Lake-Willow River.
The senior became the 15th pitcher in state history to toss a perfect game, fanning 12 batters in seven flawless innings. He is the first pitcher to throw a perfect game since Holy Angels' Lucas Long did so in April of 2011. Long's was a five-inning outing shortened by the 10-run rule.
Godbout was backed up by solid hitting, including Zach Veno's 2-for-5, two RBI performance. Godbout added an RBI and two stolen bases on offense.
