First Report

Wayzata took control early against Minnetonka on Friday night en route to a dominating 9-0 victory at Minnetonka High School.

Designated hitter Jonathan Pribula accounted for three RBIs for the Trojans on one hit and a walk. Pribula's hit was just one of five for Wayzata in their nine-run onslaught.

The Trojans did get their scoring done in bunches, though. Five runs came in the first inning and while just one run came across in the third, they saved three runs for the seventh and final inning.

Wayzata pitcher Nelson Koenig recorded six scoreless innings and added seven strikeouts while giving up four hits. Quin Ask got a hitless inning of work and threw two strikeouts for the Trojans as well.
