See who fans voted as the top performer from May 10-15.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Baseball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Evan Esch, Mounds Park Academy. The senior pitcher was near perfect in the Panthers’ May 14 victory against New Life Academy. Esch allowed a season-low one hit and no walks as he struck out 19 batters in seven innings to earn his second win of the season. The Panthers (4-8, 2-7) won 1-0.

Top performer candidates

Bergen Bauman, St. Anthony Village. The junior pitched his first complete game of the season, recording a season-high 13 strikeouts as the Huskies defeated St. Paul Como Park 8-0 on May 13. Bauman gave up two hits, one walk and threw 87 pitches. He added a double, a walk and an RBI at the plate for St. Anthony Village (8-8, 5-6).

Evan Esch, Mounds Park Academy. The senior pitcher was near perfect in the Panthers’ May 14 victory against New Life Academy. Esch allowed a season-low one hit and no walks as he struck out 19 batters in seven innings to earn his second win of the season. The Panthers (4-8, 2-7) won 1-0.

Ethan Lanthier, Northfield. The senior pitcher threw a no-hitter on May 13, allowing the Raiders’ first-inning run to stand as the game-winner in their 1-0 victory at Winona. Lanthier gave up two walks and struck out 10 batters while throwing 107 pitches for Northfield (10-4, 9-2).

Teige Lethert, St. Croix Prep. The senior put together back-to-back five-RBI games, leading the Lions in their two games last week. At Trinity on May 13, Lethert went 3-for-4 with a home run and a stolen base en route to the Lions’ 14-2 victory. The next night, Lethert matched his offense with five RBIs on two hits as the Lions (10-5, 6-3) defeated Cristo Rey Jesuit 19-6.

Jackson Pribyl, Monticello. The Magic defeated Zimmerman 12-8 on May 10, led by Pribyl’s season-high seven RBIs. The senior went 4-for-4 and hit two doubles, two triples while scoring three runs.
