Other games to keep an eye on

Holy Angels vs. DeLaSalle, 7 p.m., Friday, May 14. The hunt to claim this year’s Tri-Metro Conference championship is all but over as No. 5-3A Holy Angels has already swept two title contenders in the regular season — Fridley and St. Anthony Village. The only obstacle remaining for the Stars (8-1, 6-0) looks to be a second matchup with DeLaSalle (4-6, 3-3).

New York Mills vs. Wadena-Deer Creek, 4:30 p.m., Friday, May 14. Other than a 12-4 blemish to Brandon-Evansville on May 6, No. 3-1A New York Mills has won each of its games by at least five runs this season. The Eagles (10-1, 8-0) take on Park Region Conference challenger Wadena-Deer Creek (8-2, 6-2), which is fighting with Menagha for second place in the league standings.
