And the winner is...MN Baseball Hub Top Performer revealed

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Baseball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

James Pfarr, DeLaSalle. The junior tossed 102 pitches and 12 strikeouts in a 4-0 win over St. Anthony Village on April 5. He gave up three hits and walked two batters over seven innings pitched.

Top performer candidates

Logan Anderson, Madelia. The senior pitcher tossed five innings in a 2-1 win over Buffalo Lake on April 5. He gave up just one run and recorded 14 strikeouts. 

Kolby Gartner, St. Michael-Albertville. Striking out eight batters in seven innings, the junior pitcher earned a 1-0 victory over Maple Grove in the Knights' season-opening win on April 5. 

Sol Havelka, Owatonna. In an 11-3 win over Rochester Mayo on April 5, Havelka pitched five innings, giving up two runs — one of them earned — on two hits, and he walked one batter and struck out four. At the plate, the junior went 1-for-3 with two walks and three RBI. His lone hit was a double.

Wyatt Rogers, Simley. The senior infielder recorded just one hit in the Spartans' 7-6 win over East Grand Forks on April 5, but he made the hit and his time on the bases count. Rogers' hit was a home run, and he was walked twice, recorded two stolen bases and recorded three RBI.
