Foley vs. Osakis

4:30 p.m., Friday, May 11

This tilt could have big end-of-season seeding implications as the winner will hold an advantage as eight teams — including Foley and Osakis —  tout winning records in Class 2A, Section 6.

Foley leads them all with an undefeated record entering the week, including four wins over Class 3A opponents.

In a doubleheader sweep over Zimmerman on May 3 (13-5 in Game 1 and 13-2 in Game 2), Drew Beier went 5-for-6 with a double and three RBI for the Falcons (8-0, 5-0), who have outscored opponents by 60 runs this season.

Osakis (6-1, 3-0) has been rolling along as well, topping three section foes and beating defending Class 1A champion Parker's Prairie 9-1 on April 26. The Silverstreaks also have the offense to stay with the Falcons, scoring 65 runs in seven games this season.

Carter Rost went 3-for-4 with a run, a RBI and a stolen base in Osakis' 9-2 victory over Royalton on May 1.
