Minnehaha Academy

vs. St. Cloud Cathedral

1:30 p.m., Saturday, April 28

Minnehaha Academy has scored 480 runs over the last two seasons (8.28 per game) en route to back-to-back Class 2A state championships.

The Redhawks hope to continue their run of success this year. To do so, they'll need to lean on Bennett Theisen (.333/.500/.561 in 2017) and Noah Dehne (.341/.464/.527 last season), who headline a group of three returners from last year's lineup.

St. Cloud Cathedral (1-0, 0-1) has the arms to test Minnehaha Academy. The Crusaders had a third-place finish in the Granite Ridge Conference last year, allowing just 3.85 runs per game.

They return every starter from that rotation, including Tyler Bautch, who pitched four innings and recorded three hits at the plate in a 10-3 win over Proctor on Saturday.
