Levi Arnold allowed just two hits and struck out 13 to pitch Parkers Prairie to an 8-0 victory over Pillager in the Class 1A quarterfinals on Thursday at the Mini Met in Jordan.

Arnold, a senior, took a no-hitter into the sixth inning before Pillager's Braeden Wangsness singled in the sixth.

The top-seeded Panthers (24-2) scored four runs in the first inning and two in the second to take an early 6-0 lead. Hunter McDaniels' 2-run double in the fourth extended the Panthers' lead to 8-0.

In Friday's semifinals, the Panthers will play the winner of Fosston and Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove. Pillager (15-11) will play the loser of Fosston and Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove in the consolation semifinals on Friday.
