Wayzata at Minnetonka
6:30 p.m., Friday, May 19

The top two teams in the Class 4A rankings go head-to-head for the second time this season, and this time there will be huge Lake Conference implications.

With just two league contents remaining on its schedule, defending Class 4A state champion Wayzata (11-3, 6-1) could lock up its second consecutive conference title by the end of the week.

If Minnetonka (10-4, 3-1) comes out ahead in the win column, the Skippers would have one fewer conference loss with three games remaining and also hold the tiebreaker after walloping the Trojans 9-2 on April 28.

That evening, Aaron Brush smacked four of the No. 2-4A Skippers' 15 hits and accumulated three RBI off Trojans pitchers Matt Bohlke and Alec Lonson. It's is the only time No.1-4A Wayzata has allowed more than five runs in a game this season.
