St. Charles at Pine Island

St. Charles and Pine Island feature two extremely explosive offenses which have culminated in a combined 8-1 record in Class 2A, Section 1.

The Saints (5-2, 4-2) have seven players with on-base percentages over .400 and also boast a team on-base plus slugging percentage of .845, better than many teams' best hitters. St. Charles also features pitcher Luke Wesley, who has allowed just 12 baserunners and one run in 17 innings pitched.

Wesley will need his best stuff to win against the No.14-2A Panthers. Pine Island (6-3, 4-3) has scored 70 runs this season, with Brady Braaten providing a lot of the boom. He went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two stolen bases, a RBI and three runs scored against Lake City on April 20.
