St. Francis at St. Michael-Albertville

St. Franics has historically been a frontrunner for the Mississippi 8 Conference title, but St. Michael-Albertville has been making noise in the league in recent seasons. 

Northwestern commit Jack Kelly leads the No. 19-4A Knights from behind the plate, but his freshman brother, Cody is mashing with a .522 BA from the lead-off spot. Travis Brown has also been strong with 37 strikeouts and 1.00 ERA in four games for St. Michael-Albertville (8-0, 5-0). He will get the start against St. Francis.

The Fighting Saints (4-2, 4-1) are hoping to recover after suffering losses to Roseville (11-1) on April 14 and Monticello (4-0) last week. Ace James Green will likely be the man on the mound to try and reverse his team's recent struggles. Green has a 1.58 ERA with 17 strikeouts in 17.2 innings. He also leads the team with a .890 on-base plus slugging percentage when hitting.
