Delano at Edina
6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 11

Delano and Edina will be pushing hard to make it to the Class 3A and 4A state tournaments, respectively. Both teams had just six losses in 2016 but fell short in their section tournaments.

The Tigers (1-0, 1-0) picked up a 3-1 win against Annandale last Thursday in their season opener and will look to keep the momentum going into the second week of the season.

Senior two-way standout Jordan Schramel will lead Delano against Edina. Schramel pitched a team-high 46 innings last season, posting a 0.91 ERA, while also posting a 1.133 on base plus slugging percentage.

The Hornets return eight starters this season, including North Dakota commit Brock Boltmann. Boltmann will lead the offense while Michael Voss heads a five-man pitching rotation for Edina.
