Totino-Grace at Champlin Park
4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 5

Contenders are starting to solidify themselves in the Northwest Suburban Conference, and two of the league's best meet on Thursday when Totino-Grace heads to Champlin Park.

The Eagles are perched atop the standings with a 5-0 mark in conference play, and No. 12-4A Totino-Grace (6-1) has been dominant this season, holding four opponents to one run or less.

Over the past two weeks, the No. 8-4A Rebels have played in five games decided by two runs or less. Champlin Park (8-2, 5-2) begins a five-game homestand looking to take the top spot in the league standings as it enters the week a game back of the lead.

Last year, the Eagles used a four-run first inning to oust the Rebels 9-7.
