Chanhassen at Chaska
7 p.m., Monday, May 2

Three miles separate these rival Metro West Conference schools, and following Chanhassen's sweep of a doubleheader in the Class 3A, Section 3 finals last year, both teams are likely eager to face off for the first time this season.

After dropping their season opener, the No. 7-4A Storm (7-1, 5-0) have won seven straight games, including four by single runs. The defending big-school champion, Chanhassen is also currently atop the league standings.

Chaska won the inaugural Metro West title last season, but the Hawks (2-3, 2-1) will be awaiting the chance to avenge those two single-run playoff losses to the Storm.
