Sibley East at Belle Plaine
5 p.m., Monday, April 25

Sibley East scored two runs in the top of the eighth inning to record a 5-3 victory over No. 19-2A Tri-City United on April 18 and end a two-game skid. The Wolverines (5-2, 2-1) have since extend their winning streak to three games.

Belle Plaine (8-0, 3-0) dominated its first week of league play, outscoring the competition 29-5. The No. 3-2A Tigers could be well on their way to their third Minnesota River Conference title if they can pull out a win against second-place Sibley East.

The Wolverines swept the Tigers in a doubleheader to end last year’s regular season, winning one in walk-off fashion.
