St. Cloud Cathedral has outscored opponents 56-22 this season, but did have to pull off a pair of single-run victories last week, including a 2-1 win over Pierz that went to eight innings.

The No. 1-2A Crusaders (8-0) have collectively batted .335 this season to sustain the program's impressive 58-game winning streak.

Minnehaha Academy (8-1) has won a few close games, too, with strong pitching and hitting. The No. 2-2A Redhawks are averaging 7.5 runs per game.

St. Cloud Cathedral defeated Minnehaha Academy 7-2 in last year's regular-season meeting before recording a 10-1 victory over the Redhawks in the Class 2A state championship.
