Chanhassen at Chaska
7 p.m., Wednesday, May 13

Chaska suffered its only loss on the season in a 4-2 defeat to No. 15-3A Bloomington Jefferson on April 29, as the Hawks struck out 15 times against Jaguars' ace Jake Irvin, who is headed to the University of Oklahoma.

Otherwise, No. 2-3A Chaska (15-1, 11-1) has been perfect against a difficult slate of games in the Metro West Conference, including against rival No. 6-3A Chanhassen (13-3, 9-3), which visits Wednesday night.

Chaska upended Chanhassen 10-2 in their first meeting on April 27. Reid Young hit a three-run homer while Justin Arnold also knocked in three runs for the Hawks. Luke Roskam scattered eight hits and four walks in six innings for the victory.

Nick Smith paced the Storm with a 3-for-4 night, but the rest of the team struggled and stranded too many base runners.
