Centennial at Anoka
4:15 p.m., Monday, May 4

Both Centennial (8-5, 7-2) and No. 9-3A Anoka (11-2, 7-2) are a half-game behind Totino-Grace in the Northwest Suburban Conference.

Centennial has won four of five games since a four-game losing streak in mid-April, one that included a 10-0 loss to Totino-Grace.

Anoka defeated Totino-Grace 14-6 on April 13 but has since lost to conference rivals Blaine and Robbinsdale Armstrong.

Monday night will be the first and only meeting between the Cougars and Tornadoes this spring, so it will be important for conference bragging rights.

Chase Thomas leads Anoka with a .463 average and is one of three Tornadoes (along with Alex Pribyl and Trent Palmer) with 10 RBI. Palmer and Alex Glick are both 3-0.
