Little Falls at St. Cloud Cathedral
5 p.m., Tuesday, May 5

No. 20-2A Little Falls (10-4, 7-2) and No. 6-2A Albany are both chasing No. 1-2A St. Cloud Cathedral (9-0, 7-0) in the Granite Ridge Conference standings.

After stumbling with a two-game losing streak to end April, the Flyers have ripped off three straight impressive road victories in May -- the last was a 10-0 shutout of Annandale. Adam Hallberg went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Justin Jenks tossed a five-inning one-hitter for the Flyers.

Meanwhile, St. Cloud Cathedral has yet to lose but has won four one-run games. The Crusaders rolled past Becker 12-1 in their last game behind a homer and four RBI from Brindley Theisen. Dominic Austing threw a complete-game one-hitter with 10 strikeouts.

Earlier this spring, St. Cloud Cathedral won 6-1 at Little Falls on April 11. In that game, Austing and Theisen combined on a three-hitter with nine strikeouts for the Crusaders, while Zach Sufka singled, walked twice, scored twice and drove in a run.

Tommy Miller took the loss for Little Falls after giving up three hits and three runs and striking out five in five innings but did go 1-for-1 with two walks and a stolen base.
