Park Center has cooled considerably after a 8-1 start to the season. But the Pirates still sit in the top half of the challenging Northwest Suburban Conference behind the hitting of Austin Ledin (.432, five doubles) and pitching of Carson Selin  (1.27 ERA). Elk River lost 5-1 to Park Center earlier this season, but the Elks have been on a tear as of late, winning four of their last five to ascend to a tie with Anoka for first place in the standings.
