Benilde-St. Margaret’s had reeled off 12 straight victories to start the season before stumbling last week with consecutive losses to North Suburban Conference opponents St. Louis Park, Totino-Grace and Irondale. Now the Red Knights hope to right themselves with another tough week that includes Wednesday’s game against neighboring St. Louis Park. Senior Keaton Studsrud is batting .512 with four doubles, three triples and two home runs for the Red Knights. Studsrud, the Red Knights’ star quarterback last fall, has committed to play football at North Dakota. St. Louis Park has won five straight and sits in second place in the North Suburban at 8-2, a half-game behind Totino-Grace and a half-game ahead of Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Senior Curt Greenbush leads the Orioles with a .452 batting average, five doubles, two triples and two home runs.
