The No. 1-seed Irish plated three runs in the third to take a 4-0 lead over Sartell in the Class 4A quarterfinals on Tuesday, and that was all Jack Thompson needed. 

Rosemount's starting pitcher tossed a complete game shutout, allowing just two hits to help lead his team the semifinals. 

William Harder led from the plate for the Irish, cracking two hits and tallying two RBIs. Caden Hegerty added a pair of hits. 

The Irish advance to Wednesday's semifinal against Edina.
