It's hard to pinpoint where Nicho Roessler is making the greatest impact for the Huskies this season -- on the mound or in the batter's box.
One thing's for sure: the senior ace can hit.
Monday, Roessler recorded his 100th hit as St. Anthony Village beat St. Paul Academy, going 2-for-4 in the game. The landmark is a record for the program.
Roessler was also the starting pitcher for that game, giving up just three hits and striking out four. He has not allowed an earned run in 35 innings this season.
