We are halfway through April and two teams in the east metro have emerged as top contenders out of Class 4A, Section 4.

Ranked No. 19 in Class 4A by Let’s Play Baseball, Woodbury returns eight starters this year, and a preseason trip to Florida looks to have paid dividends as the Royals are undefeated through two weeks of the season.

Also unbeaten heading into this week is No. 13-4A Cretin-Derham Hall. The Raiders ended Woodbury's season last year in the Class 3A, Section 4 quarterfinals.

Both teams are looking to take a lead in the race for the Suburban East crown and gain an edge in section seeding, making this our Top Game of the Week.
