Weisenburger moves up in Brewers organization

Former Red Knight gets call to Class AAA Nashville.

Former Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knight Adam Weisenburger ('07) has been assigned to Nashville of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League by the Milwaukee Brewers.


Adam Weisenburger was a seven-time all-conference pick at BSM, including four times in baseball.

Former Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knight Adam Weisenburger ('07) has been assigned to Nashville of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League by the Milwaukee Brewers.

A three-sport standout for the Red Knights, Weisenburger was an all-conference selection in baseball, hockey and soccer and led BSM to a Class A state title in soccer as a senior. He also led the North Suburban Conference in assists as a midfielder.

A two-year letterwinner in hockey, he talled three goals and 16 points during his senior season and scored four goals and 29 points during two varsity seasons.

A four-year letterwinner and all-conference pick in baseball, Weisenburger's jersey number, 3, has been retired. He batted .416 as a sophomore and was named to the all-state tournament team as BSM finished third in the Class AAA tournament.

He was a second-team All-Metro pick each of the next two seasons and batted .457 as a senior. In addition, he threw out 11 of 23 runners attempting to steal and picked off eight more baserunners.
