Q: Three words my friends or teammates might use to describe me?

A: Funny, energetic and weird.

Q: Three songs I never skip on my iPod are …

A: … “Trophies” by Young Money; “My Town” by Montgomery Gentry; and “Hope” by Ace Hood.

Q: What are your three favorite apps?

A: Bloons Tower Defense, Twitter and Snapchat.

Q: Who do you like to follow the most on Twitter, and why?

A: College baseball teams because I like to always know how my schools are doing during the season.

Q: Who got you started playing baseball?

A: My dad. He got me started with baseball when I was very young.

Q: At my first varsity practice, I felt …

A: … nervous. But, I also felt comfortable because I felt like I needed to be there.

Q: What did you work on most prior to the start of the season?

A: Staying healthy and trying to add more muscle to my frame.

Q: To get focused for a game, I …

A: … usually just try to focus in and get my mind right. Sometimes, I’ll listen to music.

Q: What is your favorite meal before a game?

A: I don’t like to eat before games. I don’t want to have a full stomach or not to feel well during the game.

Q: What is your most memorable moment as a high school athlete?

A: Building friendships with your older teammates as an underclassman and just working hard to get each other better.

Q: What are your goals for the remainder of the season?

A: To win a section title and a possible state title.

Q: I know I have the upper hand on a pitcher …

A: … when I’m not scared, and step to the plate more confident than he is.

Q: Who is your school’s biggest rival, and why?

A: Burnsville, because our cities are right next to each other, and we enjoy beating them.

Q: How do you balance school and sports during the year?

A: It’s hard, but you’ve got to have good time management and ask for help when you need it.

Q: Who is your favorite college or pro sports team and why?

A: The Miami Hurricanes, no doubt. I used to live in Florida, so that is when the love for the Hurricanes started.

Q: In 10 years, I hope I’m …

A: … living out my dreams, and being happy while I’m doing it.

Q: What is the best sports advice you ever received?

A: It might sound so simple but when you’re struggling at the plate, to just take a deep breath, relax yourself and stay calm. It usually works out very well.
