Top performances

Pitching: Logan Sandgren, BOLD

In his quest for a third consecutive no-hitter, the lefthander had to a settle for a one-hit shutout in BOLD’s 3-0 victory over Osakis. He struck out six and walked five.

Offense: Sam Hentges, Mounds View

The Mustangs cleanup hitter was a home run shy of the cycle, scored three runs and had two RBI. His double in the first inning two-hopped the right field wall. His triple in the third inning four-hopped the left-center field wall.

Defense: Nic Bauer, Kasson-Mantorville

Perham pitcher Eric Brauch led off the sixth inning with a drive to the gap in left center that looked destined for the wall. But left fielder Bauer tracked it down in front of the warning track and reached out to snag it.
