Long Prairie-Grey Eagle's final conference game of the season came on Browerville’s home field Friday, May 18.
The Tigers entered the game with one loss on the season – to the Thunder – while the Thunder had two losses. A win for either team would clinch the conference.
When the two teams met on May 3, it ended up being a pitchers duel between LPGE’s Duane Miller and Browerville’s Austin Host.
Miller tossed seven scoreless innings and struck out 11 in that game.
This time around, Browerville went with Mitch Heid and the results ended up being very similar.
