On wednesday the Huskies hosted Champlin Park and won 6-1. Brent Stong pitched 5 innings and recorded 13 strikeouts. Stong also had a solo home run in the 5th.

Andover did their damage in the third inning scoring 4 runs. With bases loaded Davis Johnson singled scoring Nick Weeks. Kyle Gausman followed up with another single that scored Brady Johnson and Patrick O'Donnell. Wade Satzinger hit what looked like a inning ending double play ball but the throw from second to first was wild and that allowed Davis Johnson to come around and score.

On Thursday Andover used a late three-run blast to drop the Elks 10-7

It was a see-saw battle with the Elks jumping out to three run lead in the first off starter Kyle Gausman. But Gausman responded at the plate with a two run double scoring Patrick O'Donnell and Davis Johnson. Each team added a run in the second and Andover saw it's first lead in the 3rd inning when Nate Stong and Nick Weeks teamed up for a delayed double steal. Weeks was on first and got himself hung up long enough for Stong to steal home and take a 5-4 lead.

Elk River reclaimed the lead scoring two runs in the top of the 5th. Sam Krick scored on a passed ball and Brady Givens scored a single by Corey Collins.

The Huskies grabbed the lead for good when Nick Weeks homered off Tucker Morrell with Tyler Evans and Nate Stong on board. Weeks racked up four RBI on two hits.
