Andover gets 4 RBI from Brady Johnson

Defeats Osseo 7-4

The Osseo Orioles jumped out to an early lead but Andover came out on top for a 7-4 win on Wednesday at Andover High School.

Osseo's number two hitter, Alex Eernisse, hit a solo home off starter Brent Stong in the top of the first inning to take an early 1-0 lead. It didn't take long for the Huskies to respond as it scored three runs of its own in the first. Kyle Gausman's RBI fielder's choice scored Wade Satzinger and a two-run double by Brady Johnson plated Patrick O'Donnell and Gausman.

Andover added another run in the 2nd inning. Davis Johnson and Wade Satzinger both singled and O'Donnell singled to center to make the score 4-1. But Osseo fought back in the fifth scoring 3 runs with Bret Moody collecting 2 RBI on a triple to right field.

The Huskies grabbed the lead back with strong sixth inning. With Davis Johnson and Satzinger at 1st and 2nd O'Donnell's sacrifice bunt moved them to 2nd and 3rd. Tyler Evans was given an intentional pass and Gausman singled to score Johnson.  Brady Johnson collect 2 more RBI and Andover went up for good when he singled off Nick Wagner, plating Satzinger and Evans.

Davis Johnson (4 for 4) and Wade Satzinger (3 for 3) were perfect at the dish and Brady Johnson went 3 for 4.

Brent Stong recorded the complete game, win for Andover. He allowed four runs on seven hits, walked three and struck out eight.
