Huskies down Park Center 3-0

Nate Stong held the Park Center Pirates scoreless for six innings as Andover Huskies took home a 3-0 victory over the Park Center Pirates in seven innings at Andover High School on Monday. Stong allowed three hits, one walk and struck out four.

The Huskies jumped out to an early one run lead in the first inning when Davis Johnson doubled and scored on an RBI single by Patrick O'Donnell. The Huskies added two more runs in the bottom of the fifth. Brady Johnson lead off the inning with a double, Brent Stong then doubled, plating Johnson. Roman Carroll followed with an infield single and Stong scored when the throw from the Pirates short-stop got past the first basemen.

Brady Johnson had a good day at the plate going 3-3. He doubled in the second and fifth innings and singled in the sixth inning.

Andover Huskies closer Zack Miller put away the final three outs to record the save.
