A strong effort by Brent Stong led the Andover Huskies to an opening day, 3-0, 10 inning win over the Osseo Orioles on Thursday at Osseo. Stong pitched six no-hit innings striking out 13 batters.

After 9 scoreless innings, Wade Satzinger helped the Huskies pull ahead in the tenth inning. Brady Johnson singled to start the tenth. O'Donnell walked. Both runners advanced on a ground by Brent Stong. Satzinger singled with a solid line drive over the second baseman, plating Johnson and O'Donnell. Kal Garmaker added another insurance run for the Huskies with a ground ball up the middle scoring Tyler Tomberlin who was pinch running for Satzinger.

Nate Stong recorded the win for Andover Huskie pitching 3 1/3 shutout innings, striking out six, walking one and scattering three hits.

Brent Stong, Brady Johnson, Davis Johnson, O'Donnell, and Satzinger each got hits for Andover Huskies. Davis led the team with two hits.
