Edina at Wayzata
4:30 p.m., Friday, April 21

Strong pitching staffs have flexed their muscle for Wayzata (2-0, 1-0) and Edina (3-0, 1-0) as the two undefeated Lake Conference rivals prepare to meet for the first time this season.

Wayzata seniors Will Oberg, Matt Urke, Matt Bohlke and Alec Lonson combined to shutout the No. 7-4A Trojans' first two opponents this season, Eden Prairie (4-0 on April 11) and Hopkins (3-0 on April 13).

Oberg will likely get the ball to face No. 10-4A Edina in a pitchers duel. The Hornets allowed just two total runs in their first three games against Delano (6-1 on April 11), St. Louis Park (11-1 on April 12) and Hopkins (3-0 on April 13).
