Fosston at Red Lake County
4:30 p.m., Thursday, April 20

Red Lake County (3-0, 1-0), a Class 1A, Section 8 finalist last season, has chewed up some struggling teams early in the season, but this week comes a big test. The Rebels play five games, four of which are against 2A schools, and the other is against conference rival and undefeated Fosston.

Josh Casavan will throw for Red Lake County after finishing off a one-run complete game performance against Rosseau on his 105th pitch. The pitching staff of Casavan, Chase Schmitz, Brandon Klipping and Mason Hanson have completely controlled hitters this season, allowing just four runs in three games.

The Rebels' rotation will be tested against Fosston's (4-0, 2-0) offense that has scored 41 runs through the first four games. Cleanup hitter Hunter Kroening is especially dangerous, recorded 13 RBI over the first three games of the season.
