Centennial at Champlin Park
4:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 18

Centennial brings back a few familiar faces that's led a talented core of juniors in early season action.

Cougars' senior Kyle Nordby finished up a complete game two-hitter in a 10-0 win against Elk River on Apr. 13, while fellow senior Bryan Pierson is hitting .500 to help lead a potent lineup. Centennial has scored at least seven runs in each game this season, after reaching the six-run mark just once during 2016.

Champlin Park has been carried by its pitching staff so far this season. The Rebels' offense didn't record a single hit against Minnetonka on April 8, but managed to pick up a 3-2 victory after a strong performance by South Carolina-Upstate commit Cole Albers.

The Rebels' No. 2 starter, Max Loven, allowed just one run and a walk while striking out 10 batters in the 2-1 win against Maple Grove on Apr.11. Loven will likely take the mound against the Cougars.
