Senior Hunter Yerks went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles on Wednesday night as Champlin Park rolled Totino-Grace 9-1 at CHS Field in Game 1 of the Class 4A, Section 5 championship.

On the mound, Aaron Kloeppner started for the Rebels and pitched 6 2/3 innings. The righthander struck out three and allowed 10 hits.

Ranked No. 1 in Class 4A by Lets Play Baseball, Champlin Park had its way with Eagles starter Alec Spevacek, scoring at least one run in six of seven innings.

Spevacek pitched five innings and allowed eight runs on 10 hits in the loss.

The Rebels' win forces a tie-breaking game to decide the Class 4A, Section 5 champion, which is set to begin immediately.
