Minnetonka junior Sam Thoresen, a right-handed pitcher and Minnesota commit, struck out eight batters in a one-hit 2-0 shutout against the Trojans on April 29.

Kansas State commit and left-handed pitcher Thomas Skoro has been Wayzata’s ace on the mound this season. He struck out 10 and scattered six hits while giving up only one earned run in the first game against the Skippers.
