Bemidji at Brainerd
1 p.m., Saturday, April 11

Bemidji made the state tournament trip in 2011 and 2012, and this year could end with another drive south for the Lumberjacks. Senior infielder James Hendricks (.364, 11 RBIs) and senior outfielder Daniel Johnson (.457, 8 RBIs) lead the Lumberjacks on offense, but the experienced pitching staff will need to replace Ryan Hirt, who graduated after going 5-0 last season.

Brainerd returns its best player from last season’s state tournament run, with do-it-all senior Tory Miller looking to build on his already sparkling statistical record. Miller went 4-2 with a 1.84 ERA while batting an impressive .464 with 21 RBIs.
